PASSPORTS

You must be in possession of a passport valid for six (6) months after the return from your holiday.

RESERVATIONS & DEPOSITS

 

A $500 per person deposit is required to confirm services. Once a program is confirmed alterations will result in a $250 administrative fee per change. Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure. Payments are accepted by wire transfer or corporate check.

 

DOCUMENTATION

 

Visas, ticket vouchers (if applicable) and the travel affidavits along with check-instructions and local contact information will be sent approximately 30 days prior to departure.

RATES & FARES

 

Rates quoted are accurate at the time of quotation and are subject to change until the program is confirmed. All rates are based upon official rates received and are guaranteed once programs are paid in full. Air quotes are based on current fares and are subject to change prior to ticketing. Rates are based on confidential tariffs and quoted for a complete program. No price breakdowns will be provided.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

 

Vaya Sojourns must receive all cancellations in writing. The per person cancellation charges are:

  • More than 60 days prior to departure: 50% of deposit

  • 59-30 days prior to departure: 50% of tour price

  • Less than 30 days prior to departure: 100% of tour price

In addition to the above, you will be liable for any non-refundable deposits paid to suppliers on your behalf. There is no refund for a partially completed tour or for unused services of any kind.

TRAVEL PROTECTION

 

Vaya Sojourns recommends that you purchase a travel insurance plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected. Travel insurance plans can include coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical and Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, Trip Delay, Baggage Delay and more. Trip cancellation insurance is highly suggested.

AIRLINES

 

Vaya Sojourns has no control over any airline operations and is not responsible for schedule changes, delays or cancellations. Airline delays and any extra expenses incurred are the sole responsibility of the airline.

HOTELS

 

Vaya Sojourns or its independent suppliers may find it necessary to make substitutions in the accommodations due to circumstances beyond their control. Normally substitutions are of superior or equal quality. If a substitution of equal or superior quality cannot be made, a refund will be paid for the difference.

RESPONSIBILITY

 

Vaya Sojourns LLC is a California-based limited liability company purchasing transportation, hotel and cruise accommodations, restaurants and other services from various independent suppliers not affiliated with Vaya Sojourns in any way. Although Vaya Sojourns chooses the best suppliers available, the company has no right to control their operations and CANNOT, THEREFORE, BE LIABLE FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE OR LOSS which may occur due to (1) wrongful, negligent or arbitrary acts of omission on the part of a supplier, its employees and others not under the direct control of Vaya Sojourns, or (2) defects or failures of any aircraft, vessel, automotive vehicle or other equipment under the control of independent suppliers.

Vaya Sojourns LLC works only through the professional Travel Agent community. We recognize their valuable contribution in providing substantive information not contained on this website. We have long-standing relationships with the many of the industry’s finest Travel Professionals and look forward to working with you as well!
